I have about a dozen or so projects that I would love to tackle, each ranging from remakes/reboots, sequels, adaptations, and original pieces.
I have a stack of abandoned film scripts that I truly believe in the concepts of, but the fact of the matter is that I still need time to develop them in order to give them the justice I feel they deserve. The top of this heap is a time travel thriller I’ve been scripting for over six years now. I have brought on numerous writers and its still a project sitting in my own development hell pile.
I would love to one day be able to direct Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere. I would be thrilled to direct anything written by Gaiman, or even Chuck Pahlanuik for that matter. Hell, working on any project written by John August would be stellar as well.
The two biggest projects that I have done very little development on (despite a script treatment or two) that I would enjoy making are The Devil and Tom Walker, based on the Washington Irving novella, and I would love to do a film based on the Salem Witch Trials. That period of history fascinates me to no end, especially with it dealing with religion.
To sum up… I have oodles of projects just waiting to be unleashed upon the world.
