Solar Shock Studios is proud to officially announce their plan for productions to take place in 2011.
The studio is pleased to be working with award winning author Todd Noker (known on X96 in Salt Lake City as Todd Nuke ‘Em) to create a film adaptation of his second novel, Rated F.
The fictional satire film will be helmed by American Rejects director Brandon Young with Danny Chadwick serving as screenwriter to adapt the novel. Both will serve as producers.
Production on Rated F will begin around October for an early 2012 release date.
The studio will be working on the time travel thriller Circle in mid 2011. The long in development project which began in 2005 will finally get completed this year.
Young is writing/directing the feature with Chadwick and Michael A. Klein serving as co-writers or story consultants. The same team are the creators of Solar Shock Pictures’ first full length film Elysium.
Producers for the studio include Marty Lynn Hicks, Justin Beecher, Gregory Andersen, and Nick Borrego. Principal Photography on Circle will begin May or June with a Holiday 2011 release.
Additional producers are being sought out for both projects.
